Will Rhinoplasty change you?

If you are thinking whether you are a candidate for rhinoplasty then let me tell you both sides of the story. You are a candidate of rhinoplasty if you think your nose is not good aesthetically and that is all that matters. On the other side you may not be the candidate if you are comfortable with the nose.

Make sure to talk to a rhinoplasty surgeon for a realistic view of the surgery, the costs and the benefits. Most surgeons have a computer imaging software which will help tell you how you will look like after the surgery by giving rhinoplasty before and after images. The surgeon should also be able to align your expectations based on his experience. It will help as you are spending money and also because he has dealt with several patients in his career. The surgery can really make a difference in how you view yourself. If you re looking at very small changes then the expense of those can be high making it meaningless to do small nose job.

If you are an Asian then trying to have a nose surgery to look more Caucasian is an option. But the fact is that after the surgery you may end something very different than you expected. It always depends on the type of nose you have. A thin nose is what most Asian desire. Now whether the rhinoplasty can change your nose from wide ad flat to tin and small only a specialist surgeon can tell. Look for surgeons who have experience in dealing with Asians.

Update : If you are also looking at tummy tuck option then I found out a great source of tummy tuck jeans online. Hopefully this will help.

So if you are trying to get rhinoplasty done then make sure that you get all the facts right. Talk to your friends, get advice from surgeons and ask the insurance guys about coverage too.
